3 December 2022: Alice Olsher - 'Using spirals' — £35.00

This afternoon/early evening Zoom workshop with Alice Olsher, who is based in the United States,
Using Spirals to inform quiet hands-on work,
will run from 4:00pm to 7:00pm UK time.

"In the workshop I will describe the way I developed my work online during, and because of, the COVID pandemic. I will explain my understanding of the way Dilys Carrington taught trainees to direct, and explore how you send yourself directions.
The next part of the workshop will be experiential - going through the spirals in ourselves while I talk through the directions. Front spiral, Back spiral, Leg spirals in standing and lying down; one at a time and then all together. You will experience or re-experience spirals in yourselves.

There will be a short break about halfway through the workshop.

We will end with my explanation of the way this informs our quiet hands-on work and you will be able to share and ask questions."

Alice Olsher
Alice came from a theatre background. After having lessons for 15 years, she trained with Dilys and Walter Carrington from 1987 to 1990 and taught with the Carrington’s for 15 years after qualification. She has since taught Continuous Learning sessions with the Constructive Teaching Centre team at the Chicago and Berlin Congresses and also run a teacher training course in San Diego as Director of that school.

At present Alice is teaching post graduate work both in person and online. Since August in 2021 she has been working in an intensive multi-modality Bio-Psycho-Social model outpatients health clinic for work related Injuries.
